Croydon Food and Music Festival 2017 – the borough’s biggest and best summer party for foodies and music lovers – attracted over 12,000 visitors on Sunday, June 25 .
Organised by the independent South Croydon Business Association, it was held in the town’s Restaurant Quarter, famous for its amazing international cuisine.
Festival-goers enjoyed an afternoon of fantastic alfresco dining featuring cuisine and street food from around the world, accompanied by some truly fabulous live bands.
Re-named the Croydon Food & Music Festival for 2017, this year’s event featured two stages hosting every genre of music from folk and rock to jazz and blues. There were street performers and children’s entertainment throughout the afternoon. As well as cocktails and prosecco bars for the grown ups.

The Restaurant Quarter in Croydon’s South End was closed to traffic for the day. The event, featuring a range of street food stalls and entertainment, was open to the public from 12noon to 7pm. Entry was free.
