The Croydon Food and Music Festival is back for 2023!

The Croydon Food and Music Festival is back for 2023 and promises to be the biggest yet, with an incredible line-up of food vendors and musicians from across the borough.

The festival will take place on Sunday 2 July 2023, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the heart of Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter in South End. The event is free and open to the public; transforming the street into an alfresco dining experience, where locals and visitors come together to celebrate their love of great food and live music.

As the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture for 2023, Croydon is committed to showcasing the best of its cultural heritage and contemporary creativity. The Croydon Food and Music Festival is a perfect example of this, bringing together the food and music of Croydon’s communities to celebrate the diversity and vibrancy of the borough.

Foodies will be thrilled with the range of cuisines available at the festival. Vendors will be serving up everything from classic British fare to international delicacies, with something to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

Music lovers won’t be disappointed either. The festival’s line-up includes a diverse range of local musical talent – the perfect complement to the event’s lively atmosphere.

In addition to the food and music, the festival will also feature a range of activities and entertainment for all ages. From face painting to street performers, there will be plenty of fun to be had throughout the day.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing the Croydon Food and Music Festival back for 2023,” said festival organiser and chairman of the South Croydon Business Association, Waseem Sherwani. “This year’s event promises to be the best yet, with a fantastic line-up of food vendors and musicians, as well as a range of activities for all ages. This year, we’re especially proud of Croydon’s appointment as the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture 2023, and we’re excited to showcase, in our own way, the best of the borough’s cultural heritage and contemporary creativity through the medium of food and music.”

The Croydon Food and Music Festival is organised by the South Croydon Business Association (SCBA), a non-profit organisation representing local businesses in the South Croydon area, and delivered by White Label Creative, an events, design and digital marketing agency based in Croydon.

The organisers are now accepting trader and performance applications. For those interested in supporting or getting involved, you can get in touch at events@wlcreative.org.uk.
